BJ's Story
There was a man who recently graduated from college. He was trying to get a job as a game designer, but with no luck. He was a great game designer, but whenever he went to interview for a job nobody would ever hire him. He was out of money and he was living in his car. He could barely afford to buy food, gas to drive from interview to interview or get his suit dry cleaned.

Poor BJ!
He had a degree in game design from a well-known gaming university. He had designed several great games and could even program the code himself. He had contacts in lots of different gaming companies and he even had many references from notable game designers who could vouch for his skills. His main problem was that he was the absolute worst interviewer in the world! Even when hiring managers were strongly looking forward to hiring him, they decided not to after interviewing him because he just gave horrible answers and seemed so unsure of himself.

You stink at interviewing!

Conclusion
Life or Death Interview is a game about doing your best in a job interview. It is about learning what a prospective employer might ask you during an interview and how you can learn what type of knowledge is required to perform different jobs. This first edition is based around game design jobs to go along with the theme of the class. In the future more games can be produced for different jobs, such as firefighter, doctor, lawyer, marketing professor, etc. It will be fun for the players to try to get new jobs and learn career-specific information. Each new version can have a new backstory about a person that really needs a job. This can add a lot of humor and make the game more meaningful and engaging, as if the player is trying to get a job for the person in the game's story. But in the end, we are all just trying to keep ourselves fed. Stay hungry. Get un-foolish.
